Inn at Millrace Pond Wedding Suzanne + Jared

The forecast called for rain but that didn’t stop Suzanne and Jared from all of the excitement and joy on one of the most special days in their lives. The moment I walked into the bridal suite and saw Suzanne’s smile, I knew it was going to be a perfect day. She has one of those smiles that can just let up a room and she was so calm. She looked absolutely beautiful in her Allure Bridal gown. I really loved all of the pretty detail the back of her dress had too. I thought it was so sweet that Jared and Suzanne’s families were really involved throughout the day and you can tell they are all very family oriented.

Though it was raining on and off, they shared their first look in front of the meeting house. We did a few romantic umbrella portraits before moving inside to one of the pretty rooms at the Inn at Millrace Pond. I will be honest… I don’t often shoot many Bride & Groom portraits inside on wedding days since I’m usually outside most of the time but I’m so happy that the rain forced us to because when you see the indoor portraits below, you will see why! Another reason why I loved the rain was getting to shoot some fun night portraits hehe. While Suzanne was getting ready, I told her that I had an idea for a really awesome photo at the end of the night. We ended with a fun sparkler exist in the rain haha if you ever wonder if sparklers work in the rain, they do. Before I left Suzanne and Jared were so incredibly sweet and surprised me with a bottle of one of my favorite beers called, Delirium tremens. They are beer lovers like me and they remembered me telling them about the beer doing their engagement session.
