Because every great relationship should start with a great friendship, I would love for you to get to know me little better and . I'm a Jersey native, married to a Navy guy from Maryland. After living on the West coast, the Gulf and New England, we finally call Southern Virginia home. We have two fur babies, Cooper & Paisley who are more like children.
If you hear me get excited, you will probably hear the Northern accent come out while the speed of my voice increases at some point or another. I'm an old soul girly girl but I'm always up for getting my hands dirty in the flower garden. I've been making art since I could hold a pencil. The art room is my happy place no matter what I'm creating. I didn't grow up dreaming of being a wedding photographer. I received a BA in Art education and during studying abroad in Rome, Italy my junior year, I fell in love with photographing people.
The woman behind the lens
Photography for me is not only just about creating art; it's capturing little moments in peoples lives that are preserved throughout time to last generations. These are memories that are not only cherished by the people in the photographs but their families & friends they share them with.
I often think of myself more as a visual historian of life. I feel so honored to document so many important moments in peoples lives whether it's a couple who just got engaged, sharing their vows, a mom expecting her first child or a family spending time together. The moments captured should be just as memorable as the feelings in the moment; making people feel joyful and beautiful are two emotions that I strive to achieve because at the end of the day they will always remember how you made them feel.
