I'm christy

I'm a Jersey native, married to a Navy guy from Maryland. I've lived on the West coast, Gulf coast and even up in New England but I call Southern Virginia home. We have two fur babies, Cooper & Paisley who are more like children.

I've been making art since I could hold a pencil. The art room is my happy place. I didn't grow up dreaming of becoming photographer but during studying abroad in Rome, Italy, I fell in love with photographing people. 

Photography for me is about documenting little moments in peoples lives to last generations. These are memories that are not only cherished by the people in the photographs but their families & friends they share them with.  

The moments captured should be just as memorable as the feelings in the moment; making people feel beautiful and capturing the joy between them are two emotions that I strive to achieve because at the end of the day they will always remember how you made them feel.
